GTM Tool Privacy Notice

Introduction

This privacy notice aims to give you information on how Stape, Inc. ("we", "us", "our", the "Company") will collect and process the personal data about a user using/visiting the GTM Tools ("you", "your").

This privacy notice only relates to how the Company will process the Related Personal Data (as specified below). It is important that you read this privacy notice together with any other privacy notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you.

What information do we collect and for what purposes?

GTM Tools processes the following categories of your personal data:

  • basic Page View data from users of the GTM Tools – it might be used to better understand how GTM Tools is being utilized;
  • data found within your Google Tag Manager accounts, containers, workspaces, and items within, so that you can use the service to manage these items more efficiently;
    and
  • information about your user account may contain your library data (the library data is persisted so that users can save their carts for future use);
  • the web analytics data is used to identify which parts of the service are utilized, and which are under-utilized;

    collectively, the "Related Personal Data".

GTM Tools does not maintain a user database. If you save containers in the library, those containers will be associated with your Google login ID, so that only you will have access to the stored containers.

What is the legal basis we rely on?

We will only use your Related Personal Data when the law allows us to. We process the Related Personal Data for services-related purposes because such processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party (GDPR Art. 6.1.b). Without this information, it will be impossible to perform the agreement between you and us to which this privacy notice is attached to.

Also, the Related Personal Data is used, in accordance with our legitimate interests, in Google Analytics to better understand how GTM Tools is being utilized (GDPR Art. 6.1.f).

We use web analytics (web pages interactions, source through which you accessed our website, other user actions) based either on your consent (cookie tracking – GDPR Art. 6.1.a) or our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6.1.f).

How long do we store the Related Personal Data?

The Related Personal Data will be processed and retained until the purposes of processing are met by the Company.

What information do we share?

No data is shared with third parties or with other users or tools.

This service complies with Google's Limited Use requirements for applications utilizing sensitive API scopes. GTM Tools has access to your Google Tag Manager accounts, containers, workspaces, and items within, so that you can use the service to manage these items more efficiently.
